My Pizza Delivery Bag from 'Incredible Bags'

Pizza Delivery Bag from 'Incredible Bags

When I recently launched my new twitter account for this blog, it didn't take long for me to start making some great connections with other pizza enthusiasts in the niche.

Not too long ago, I chimed in on a twitter thread and mentioned how I've always wanted my own pizza delivery bag, because I truly would put it to good use.

Long story short, one of my twitter friends (Eric) sent me my very own pizza bag from IncredibleBags.com

While the bag was gifted to me, this is not a solicited review. I simply wanted to perform the review as a courtesy.

I pride myself with being honest about anything I review, so I was really hoping that this bag was everything the company website promised it to be.

for 16 & 18 inch Pizzas

This bag has an incredible amount of room and will nicely accommodate some good sized pie boxes! I'm no stranger to pizza delivery bags back from my days working at a pizzeria.

However, I remember those decades old bags tending to bleed a lot of heat, and even retaining some moisture during a particularly long pizza delivery run.

I was super curious to see if the technology on delivery bags had improved since I last used them in the 90s.

For its inaugural pizza run, I used it on an afternoon where my carryout pizzas would be inside the carrier for a minimum of 20 minutes.

I hit up Little Caesars and opted for a Double Deckeroni pizza, Detroit style pie, and an order of breadsticks. I couldn't believe how much space was left in the bag after placing my order inside.

I always get breadsticks whenever I order Little Caesars. It's just a tradition that my Dad got me started on back in the 80s. In fact, I'm not sure I have ever ordered Little Caesars Pizza without Crazy Bread.

One thing I've always hated though, is how fast Crazy Bread gets cold. This is mainly because the paper bags they are housed in aren't very efficient at holding in heat. I didn't initially plan it, but this would be a great test for how good this bag works.

During the 20 plus minute drive home, I checked the bag around the Velcro enclosures to see if any heat was escaping, and it was not. When I got home and opened it up, I was flat out amazed at the rush of heat I felt from inside the bag!

To me, the boxes felt just as hot as they did at the store when I picked them up. What's more, the Crazy bread was still piping hot as well!

I can't recall how many times over the years Pizza has steadily cooled off on the counter while I got side tracked with other things.

Another added benefit of this delivery bag, is that you can keep your pies piping hot until the minute you are ready to eat them.

I had to get myself settled in as I prepared to watch a soccer match that afternoon, so I left the pizzas in the bag for about another 5 minutes until I cracked the boxes open.

I was ecstatic to find this delivery bag exceeded all my expectations and knowledge I had about pizza bags up to this point. SO much more efficient than the dinosaurs I used to deliver pizzas with back in the early 90s. I will be keeping this bag in my car at the ready, because I do transport a good amount of pizza monthly.

If you too are a big enough pizza consumer that would benefit from owning a pizza bag, I highly recommend an 'Incredible Bags' delivery bag! A super huge thanks to my twitter buddy Eric for turning me on to this great product and hooking me up with a sample.
